Web design is often referred to the creative optical aspect of a website – that what the visitor looks when he visit a website. Of course, designing a user interface for websites and creating web graphics used in it makes up a large part. To implement the design concept for a website however is very closely linked to many other subsectors. For example this applies to things like website programming, usability, content management systems to search engine optimization.
Also in website design there are different trends. Not too long ago these were placed in opulent scene flash pages. Currently there are functional, often minimal designs that adapt accordingly or changing to the screen size of the visitor or his used devices. For such websites techniques like HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript and more are often used.

My portfolio was kind of a lifetime project as I had designed many layouts previously for my portfolio, but this made it online. About the structure, the idea was to forget typical 960px grids and make it fully responsive. From mobile phones to bigger monitors. The design is pretty simple.

Bluegg.co.uk is a relaunched site for UK based digital and branding agency Bluegg.
It’s fully responsive, based on a custom grid system and a framework developed in-house. We’ve used SVGs, double sized PNGs to keep the icons, logos and graphics super sharp.
