This is the portfolio website of a 25 year old web designer from Leeds in the UK. I made my website entirely in HTML5 and decided to use a mixture of textures and a single page design to showcase my work. The website was built in Dreamweaver and is fully validated using the W3C validator. I wanted to try something different for my portfolio, so I went with a single scrolling page layout that pulls in my twitter feed as well as showing some of my work and includes a pretty sweet validating contact form.

I’ve wanted to make a website that used the font embedding opportunities that we have for ages and this website was my perfect opportunity to experiment. The only thing I feel that my website lacks is any kind of updated content. I feel that I need to keep people coming back by adding some kind of blog embed or message area.

One of the things that I like the most about my website is the cool highlighting colours that make each section highlight in the colour of the content that is in that container. It’s the simple attention to detail with this effect that really works!
