Edan Kwan is a creative interactive designer and developer. He is not a Top-notch designer or a hardcore programmer but he can manage to merge design & technology into something excellent with his combined skill set.
Unlike most designers, Edan had not found his flair for web design until he was 21. Before graduating from University, Edan was signed by a well-known Hong Kong music producer and became a singer in a group in Hong Kong.
It was not until Edan got a call from a web designer friend who asked if he can do a Flash project for Logitech. At that moment, Edan didn’t have any knowledge of Flash. After two weeks of hard work, Edan managed to finish his project two days before the tight deadline. During this project, Edan discovered something more exciting and different, something he had natural talent for. Edan then started learning different technologies of interactive development.
Edan didn’t take any formal design training, he believes that through hard work and self motivation, you can do anything you want. Edan has recently redesigned his web portfolio website in order to fulfil his potential. Edan finally finished his new, funky portfolio website from scratch in February 2011. His portfolio got him on the FWA winner list and the 1st place at Design Charts in 2011.
