Weyland

Weyland is Czech company trading with wood. We decided to create a modern website for them based on grid and asynchronous upload of web fonts from Typekit.com. With also successfully built a new web UI framework Chameleon for this project, which uses SASS and Closure Compiler for rapid development and deployment. Communication between the browser and the web is compressed and in addition we also use the browser cache for static data such as images, CSS and JavaScript. To achieve the feeling of wood we used photography of nature, few textures and nice product shots, yet we still tried to keep it clean and simple.
