Spokes Pedicabs

Spokes Pedicabs is business that exists within an artistic community and from the beginning we wanted to create a sense of identity that reflected the culture which surrounds it. We also knew we wanted to capture and portray that experience to viewers as interactive art. The process began by talking to business owners and getting their history as well as visiting the local landmarks that people identified the area with. Once we had all of the information we created storyboards that outlined our idea of creating 2 dimensional art in a 3 dimensional environment. From there we worked out how the animations and timing of each sequence would interact. We worked hard to add in as many details as possible so that with each visit to the site the viewer might experience something totally new. The overall goal was to make people excited about riding a pedicab and make them aware of the experience from a creative perspective.
