Breezi: A Website Maker for True Designers
Depending on the website design project you’re faced with, it can be tough sometimes determining which tools are best suited for the task at hand. For those times when you need something that will let you create a new website fairly easily, without having to write code, yet still giving you a great deal of design flexibility, Iet me introduce you to Breezi’s website maker.
When you sign-up for a free Breezi account, you first choose a starting point for your new website, where you can pick from a range of different grid-based wireframe options or pre-designed themes.

After you complete the sign-up form, you’re taken right into the online editor, where you can start creating your fully custom site using Breezi’s website maker.
Add & Edit Content Using Apps
You can click into the App Store to preview and add apps, which are the content blocks that you’ll use to showcase all of your text, images, videos, social media feeds, blog, events, and practically any other type of content you need to add on your site.

After you add apps, just can simply click on them to add your own content. There is just one, integrated visual editing mode, so that you can see all of your changes come to life as you go.

For text editing, there’s a full WYSIWYG inline editor that lets you pick from over 500 fonts, use custom text colors, and apply a range of formatting options like bold, italics, underline, set alignment, drop shadows, letter spacing, line height, and more. You can also easily insert links, images, and videos within your text.
Setup Custom Page Layouts
At any time you can start tweaking your page layouts. You can pick from pre-set grid layouts, and then modify the structure of the page however you’d like. The new Layout Builder, which was recently launched, lets you add and remove entire blocks, sections within blocks, and also add or merge columns, and then resize them fluidly to the exact width you’d like.

Breezi uses the box-model for page layouts, and regardless of where you place apps on a page, they will automatically reconfigure to fit the space.
Pixel-Level Design Control
Whenever you want to start designing your pages, you can click into the various style dots to get intuitive pixel-level control over every aspect of the look and feel of your website.

The style dots let you control everything within blocks, sections, columns, and apps, and there are often multiple styles you can customize within apps as well. In addition, the Bulk Style editor was recently released, which lets you set styles in bulk for specific parts of your pages.

Simple Publishing & Management
Whenever you’re ready to take your site live, you just click “Publish”. This publishes your new website on a sub-domain that you select, like newsite.breezi.com, and then you can point your own domain if you prefer.

You can also host your website on a separate account by using the new FTP Sync feature, which lets you backup your website files to your FTP account on-demand, anytime. Whenever you need to make updates, add new pages, modify the designs, or anything else, you can login and get to work.
In a few weeks, Breezi will come out of beta, and although there will still be a free version, a Pro plan will also be unveiled, offering more advanced features and capabilities. To test drive Breezi’s website maker or sign up for a free account, visit breezi.com.
