Tell us something about your background to introduce yourself.
I'm a nomad designer, born in France.
Originally i'm a print designer but in recent years i focused my energy on the web! I've worked for some webagency in Paris.
In 2007 i leave France and i've worked 2 years in Canada (Montréal) as a designer and a bit in USA for freelance work.
Now I work in france for digital agency View On as web AD, but not for long time, because I'm leaving (again) France for a one year trip around the world!
That's how i live !
Where from do you get your inspiration?
The best ideas born somewhere and grow up elsewhere!
I traveled extensively in North America and Europe and my inspirations come from these trips, but not only, my second source is internet ;)
Do you use a sketchbook for your drafts?
Yep, nothing is better than paper to give birth of an idea!
What is your favored machine (Mac/PC)?
Mac of course, i'm not an accountant ;)
What new projects are you currently working on?
Some websites that integrate video function and live event platform.
Recently a web viral campaign to promote the blood donation, which was published on QNT by the way!
And of course some personal projects, like a print identity for a french bakery in Vancouver (Canada).
Your real name?
Herve Jaouen
too many people got this name, a painter, a writter...
That's why Yanaki!
