Tell us something about your background to introduce yourself.
Hey guys, my name is Ivan Tsankov, the owner of www.johnfront.com, and I’m a mixed discipline creative from Russia. I’m in the industry for around 6 years now and spent time being a designer and digital artist, all of which I have loved!
My day starts with cup of black tea and browsing the web for at least one hour, looking at design sites, flash sites, site galleries, games and stuff. Anything interesting that can grasp the attention of designer like me.
Where from do you get your inspiration?
My ideas come from anywhere and everywhere in truth, but I’d say that I draw most of my inspiration from design galleries, magazines, games and etc.
Do you use a sketchbook for your drafts?
No, Rarely I use a paper+pencil to sketch out ideas for logos, arts and even sites. Then export straight to Photoshop or Illustrator.
What is your favored machine (Mac/PC)?
PC of course! I like mine.
What new projects are you currently working on?
Working on a logo and a site for "Demigix Photo Studio" in Orenburg, RUS. Also finishing-up a redesign for Mixbook.com.
